Ep. 8: Continuing Storms : Amulet Conundrums

The next day, Malachi helps Stormy clean up the beach after the storm. As they work, Malachi occasionally zones out, though he appears less ghostly and more connected to the place, tied by the storm itself. While combing through the debris, he discovers a talisman washed ashore. Unsure of what it means, he hesitates, wondering aloud if they should even hold it. Confessing that something has been whispering in his head since the storm, Malachi references the cautionary tale of Dr. Faustus, warning that temptation and power can come at a great cost.
