The travelogue of Ms. Sabooha Khan, titled "India," is an account of her journey to India in February 2005. The narrative is presented completely straightforwardly, depicting events in their true form without any emotional embellishment. Every other Wednesday, AwaazeUrdu presents an excerpt from a travelogue. In this context, an account of the visit to the Royal Mosque and the Red Fort from this travelogue is being read. Since women's entry into the Royal Mosque is prohibited after sunset, the ladies and gentlemen could not enter the mosque; however, they beautifully described their experiences along the way when an officer from the Indian intelligence agency was following them. They then attended a sound and light show at the Red Fort, which portrays significant historical events in India. Our excerpt discusses events up until Nadir Shah invades Delhi.
