How to Prepare for God’s Refining Fire

The Bible speaks about God’s refining fire in Malachi 3:3, where it says, "And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver." Just like silver is purified by fire, God uses life's challenges to purify and refine us. But how do we prepare for this process?
