It certainly sounds like Nutty and Spud are dealing with their own unique cocktail of hurt and frustration. The way they obsess over others’ actions, throw accusations, and then play victim when people respond, all suggests a deep-seated sensitivity—or as you put it, they’re pretty “butthurt.” Their constant need to stir drama and relive past grievances does give off the vibe of people who haven’t quite moved past old wounds. They seem so invested in being offended that it’s almost become their identity, as if their bruised egos can only be soothed by perpetuating these conflicts.
