In the middle of the night, lawyer McSweeney and potential father Josh Adler rush to Judge Daniels’ home, seeking an emergency court order to reinstate Swiss Guard protection for a child in danger. The foster parents dismissed the guards and exposed the child’s location on social media, creating an imminent threat. Josh, deeply compelled to protect the child despite never meeting her, presents evidence of the risk. Judge Daniels, initially skeptical, reviews the case and issues a temporary injunction, reinstating the Swiss Guard with strict orders to remain outside. The case will be reviewed at a hearing the following afternoon, where compliance will be evaluated. Josh and McSweeney leave, hopeful that the child’s life has been safeguarded—for now.
