Sophie Turner is reportedly nearing a deal to take on the iconic role of British archaeologist Lara Croft in the upcoming live-action Tomb Raider series, produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Crystal Dynamics. The show, which has already received a series order and is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video, is being written and executive produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Turner, who gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, is in discussions to lead the adaptation of the beloved video game franchise.
