A Gin Basil Smash already tastes delicious. This twist with lemon oleo saccharum and Green Chartreuse might reignite the love for this classic? The flavor profile is surprisingly mild despite the alcohol content being higher than in the original version.

Recipe:
45ml-1.5oz CITRUSY GIN
15ml-0.5oz GREEN CHARTREUSE
22.5ml-0.75oz LEMON JUICE
15ml-0.5oz LEMON OLEO SACCHARUM
10 BASIL LEAVES

Shake all ingredients with two large ice cubes. Yes, that’s right, the basil leaves don’t need to be muddled. Ice cubes and hard shake will do everything that the muddler can do.

Shake hard for 45 seconds and fine strain into frosted rocks glass.
