Titanium and Gold: K9 Hurricane - Unleashed

In season one we introduced you to K9 Hurricane, a retired Secret Service K9 that stopped a fence jumper at the White House in 2014. For his bravery, K9 Hurricane received a number of medals and accolades including the PDSA Order of Merit, the Homeland Security Medal of Valor, and the Secret Service Medal of Merit. Eight years after the incident on the White House grounds, K9 Hurricane is receiving another medal to go along with his impressive collection and his four titanium teeth.

The Animals in War and Peace foundation honored K9 Hurricane with the first ever Distinguished Service Medal. Six working dogs were honored in all at the Capitol building in Washington D.C. for their bravery and service.
