*UPDATE: In case you're wondering how the tomato plants produced. First off the two beds the tomatoes were in were new beds put in that same year with bagged dirt. It can take a few years for new garden beds to get established and healthy.

The 2 San Marzano tomato plants were shockingly productive! They out produced any paste tomato I've ever grown. They were not bothered by pest or disease. They ended up growing to a large size for a paste tomato. We got several, several gallon bags full of tomatoes from those two plants. They were still happily producing until our killing freeze arrived.

We couldn't keep up with the currant sweet pea. Its production was entirely too much. It never stopped until the killing freeze arrived.

The Abe Lincoln production wasn't very much, it definitely got better as time went one. We got about 2 gallon bags of those tomatoes from the two plants. The tomato sizes varied considerably. We had some small ones and some massive ones.

In this short video, I show you upper tomato leaf curl. I show you three different types of tomato seeds I DIRECT sowed in the garden and had 100% germination rate. I also talk about pruning.
