Erika Donalds: Technological innovations in the classroom can improve children’s access to education

Leadership Insititute's School Board Programs guest faculty member Erika Donalds shares how online learning has improved her son’s academic performance. “I think we have a great opportunity with the incredible innovations that are coming about, if they’re used in the right way,” she says. “Of course, we want to be responsible with technology. But I do think that these innovations can contribute to more portability for parents, who want flexibility, who want to spend more time with their family, who want to be more involved, and allow them to access great teachers from around the country and around the world that may not be in their local area.”
