This is a common error when unbelievers demand we prove God's existence in a certain way. While rationality demands that the nature of the thing you are examining will indicate what evidence is valid (e.g. an air pressure gauge for air pressure and not a volt meter). Evidence for God who is an omnipresent Spirit, would not be material in a certain location.
