FOOD & RESTAURANTS IN BELÉM DO PARÁ!

In this video we show you some of the most typical dishes of the state of Pará and city of Belém. We begin at a restaurant called Ver-o-Açai where we tried a tasting menu that had a variety of dishes typical of this region: Guaraná Garoto, Tacacá soup, Maniçoba, Pato no Tucupi and some other dishes that you will only find in this region of Brazil. The finishing touch was an amazing dessert called Taperebá Cabano made with a fruit called Taperebá which is again from this region. Then we tried a drink from a street vendor which was made from the powder of Guaraná fruit (another fruit found in the Amazon) as well as some other ingredients; this drink was also very delicious. Next stop was the restaurant called Manjar das Garças which is located inside the park of Mangal das Garças. This restaurant has a very rich buffet with a variety of options for salads, starters, main dishes and dessert. Last restaurant we tried was an Italian restaurant called Capone which is located inside the Estação das Docas. The food was amazing the portion size was great too. We wanted to visit this restaurant to also show our viewers that besides the regional and typical dishes, they can also find a variety of international cuisine in Belém as well. The best part was this restaurant was right next to an ice cream shop that is very well known in Belém for having the best ice cream in town. It is called Cairu and they are famous because they are the only ice cream shop that has the most variety of ice creams using the typical fruit from this region. They have also won many awards for the amazing products that they have. We hope you enjoy the video :)
