Many of you know that a municipality has limited law-making authority and scope. Tonight, we will delve deeper into this scope and share some key case law that validates the authority—or lack thereof—of a bylaw.

In addition, we have an update on Jaime’s water meter battle with the Town of Kingsville and her legal challenge, which is scheduled for November 26th in Windsor.

Lastly, we’ve been researching valid legal instruments for Bill C-293, and we’re excited to share our findings and discuss the next steps.
