Our #WalkAway State Chapter Leader ⁠⁠Zachary Roe on his #WalkAway journey:

“The turning point for me was when I was told in no uncertain terms that I was a racist—not because of my actions but simply for how I was born. Despite my working against racism, having relationships with people of all backgrounds, living all over the world, and crossing all sorts of cultural boundaries…none of that seemed to matter. As a white man, I was ‘inherently flawed.’ It was a hard pill to swallow, but actually I eventually did.

But the ideological demands didn’t stop there.

I watched liberals ignore sexual allegations if they were politically inconvenient, joke and even seriously talk about violence against Republicans, and demand compliance with government-mandated ‘healthcare’—even as in the next breath they championed bodily autonomy. Within hours of my second dose of the covid shot, I got my first-ever migraine, which lasted so long I had to be hospitalized.

The final straw for me was October 7th.

The ideology that I once embraced for its openness had become exactly what it claimed to fight against. That’s why I #WalkAway.”
