Marines help educate Afghan National Army

How can a military operate if only seven of every 50 members are able to read? The 14 percent literacy rate for new enlistments in the Afghan National Army is a huge obstacle to overcome. But, with the drive and determination of individual soldiers and the help of their command, the military can rise above the country's national literacy average.
