Dec. 4, 1964 - Gov. Edmund Brown and California State Assemblyman Don Mulford commented today on the arrests of student protestors at the University of California, Berkeley. The students had insisted that the university administration lift their ban of on-campus political activities and acknowledge the students’ right to free speech and academic freedom.
