1985 Jets at Lions (part 1 of 3)

Enhancement inspired by Dave Volsky | Detroit QB Eric Hipple threw for a career-high four touchdowns as the Lions upset New York 31-20 on Thanksgiving Day. Three of Hipple's TDs went to receiver Leonard Thompson who scored on plays of 24, 8 and 44 yards. Hipple finished the day 19-of-29 on the day for 269 yards and also connected with Mark Nichols on a 38-yard TD strike. RB Johnny Hector gained 114 yards on the ground and Ken O'Brien through for 281 yards and two touchdowns for New York.
