Delta IV Heavy

In 2007 it launched the DSP-23 satellite, enhancing missile detection capabilities. In 2014, it carried NASA’s Orion spacecraft on its maiden test flight, paving the way for future deep-space missions.

2018 had the Parker Solar Probe launch, which ventured closer to the Sun than any previous spacecraft to study solar activity.

Its final mission in 2024, NROL-70, delivered a classified payload for the National Reconnaissance Office, marking the conclusion of the Delta IV Heavy program.
