Forest Break Time

The coast was very windy, but we know where to go to enjoy some tranquil sound of a happy creek. The winter rains are still filtering down from the Santa Cruz mountains and out to The Monterey Bay. The natural cycle of water is amazing, falling from the sky, bringing nutrients to feed the plants on land, and all the creatures in the sea. We are familiar with green plants making oxygen, but the ocean has microscopic creatures called phytoplankton that uses the carbon dioxide and solar power to create about 1/2 the worlds oxygen. #chilltrailvibes
