Sound of 'three large explosions' wakes Sky's chief correspondent

Russia launched one of its largest air attacks on Ukraine, as 'peaceful cities, sleeping civilians and critical infrastructure' were targeted, the Ukrainian foreign minister has said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 120 missiles and 90 drones were launched in the 'massive combined strike', with Ukrainian defences shooting down nearly 150.

The sweeping attack targeted energy infrastructure across Ukraine overnight and prompted emergency power cuts.
