Spot of Nerd Goes To Orlando! PART ONE

Well folks, better late than never I say! Sincere apologies for such a delay in getting this PART ONE of a VERY EPIC 2-PART SPECIAL from yours truly, Spot of Nerd.

I finally got to visit my future home, #orlando Florida!

And let me tell you, within seconds of hopping off that plane, I fell in love! Literal LOVE! Almost, but not as INCREDIBLE as what took place the Tuesday I returned where Mr. Donald J. Trump became the 47th President of these United States of America! HELLS YES!

But seriously… Florida is something special… No, it’s not perfect, but dammit if it’s not close. Without going down a rabbit hole… Or playing the world’s smallest violin… I’ve been trapped, tortured, and have ultimately wasted so much of my life, (With my own choices…) in regards to the way I live life… Specifically in CA and WA.

I’ve spent nearly 40 years pleasing others… Helping others. And where has it gotten me?

SPOILERS - Absolutely nowhere…

I’ve always dreamt of moving to Florida and with this recent trip to get my metaphoric eggs in order, I could not have felt more relieved… Less stress, WARM, but above all else, RESPECTED!

Why I’ve waited so long to move is something we’ll chat over another time… But for now, please enjoy my own JOY in nearly several decades as I travel to the one of the greatest places on Earth… Florida.
