Red Sea Reefer XL Display Aquarium - True Mixed Reef System

In this video, I present my Red Sea Reefer XL display aquarium, a thriving true mixed reef system that includes a variety of SPS, LPS, soft corals, invertebrates, and fish.

For lighting, I’ve chosen a combination of high-quality, energy-efficient fixtures:

T5 HO (High Output) lighting for broad-spectrum coverage
Ecotech Radion G5 for advanced LED lighting with full spectrum control
Aqua Illumination AI Prime 16HD for precision and color enhancement
Additionally, I’ve upgraded two AliExpress LED bars by gutting the original diodes and replacing them with high-performance LEDs. These new diodes provide a more efficient light spectrum, ranging from 390-395nm (UV) to 740nm (infrared), with the majority of the spectrum falling between 415-450nm, optimizing light output for the coral’s growth and health.
