Remember back when we were a proper country and Mary Jane Watson looked hot? Remember when Peter Parker married the supermodel? Remember when all of that got ripped away because of a decision by the editors at Marvel Comics?

Well, it seems that "One More Day" is going to be the permanent (for now) arrangement, with Peter and MJ never getting back to that point in their relationship ever again -- at least in the main 616* continuity. However, the new Ultimate line is giving reader just what they want: Peter & MJ happily married with two kids. Sales are strong.

Of course, Marvel won't learn anything from this.
