The Verde Valley in Arizona has been home to numerous mining operations. Slag piles still exist and some are being reprocessed and sold for other uses. Local Naturopath, Dr. Shaida Sina, specializes in Environmental Medicine. Here she discussed the history and current status of mining and related toxins in the Verde Valley (Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Sedona.)
