Rep. Nancy Mace introduced a resolution barring lawmakers and House staff from using Capitol bathrooms that don’t align with their biological sex. When asked if it targeted Sarah McBride, the first transgender member of Congress, Mace said:
"Yes and absolutely, and then some."
