Domestic Violence Awareness Month & The SALONS Act: Unmuted with Marsha

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month, and we highlighted this on Senator Blackburn’s podcast Unmuted where the Senator spoke with Susanne Post, a Tennessee salon owner / stylist – and a domestic violence survivor. Susanne is a supporter of Senator Blackburn’s SALONS Act, which would incentivize states to provide domestic violence awareness training for beauty professionals and cosmetologists, which would help these individuals better recognize signs of abuse in their clients.
