Hareshaw Linn Magical woodland walk to the waterfall

Hareshaw Linn is a wooded valley featuring a 3 mile walk from a Northumberland National Park car park in Bellingham to a spectacular waterfall. The waterfall provides an ideal climate for over 300 species of mosses, liverworts and lichens. A superb place to nature watch being home to a wide range of wildlife such as red squirrels, great spotted woodpecker, spotted flycatchers, and Daubenton's bat.
Be careful here on wet days and during winter as there can be many slippery surfaces and also some steep drops down to the river.
A really magical place to walk and unwind.
Oh and for those of you who don't know the "little grey person" story,
this one is hard to explain but something about 18-24 inches tall ran out in front of me on one of my previous visits and then totally disappeared. I initially thought it had gone up the tree i point out in the video but mysecond thoughts were it actually ran back down the bank which is basically a sheer drop rock face down to the river. Maybe whatever it was is living there :)
Not seen it since but maybe it knows when my camera is switched on haha :)
Spooky nonetheless.
Lots to explore here and a 2 hour+ walk condensed into 8 minutes will only give you a brief insight to this wonderful place.
