Russian S-400 Air Defense systems has shot down US-supplied ATACMS – MFA Russia

20.11.24 Ukrainian forces launched six US-made ATACMS missiles at Russia’s Bryansk region. Five missiles were intercepted by the S-400 and Pantsir air defense systems, while one was damaged, with its debris falling in a military facility’s technical area, causing a fire, stated a press release from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to confirmed data, U.S.-made ATACMS operational-tactical missiles have been used.

As a result of anti-missile operation, S-400 and Pantsir SAM systems shot down five missiles and damaged one.
Its fragments hit the technical territory of the military facility in Bryansk region, causing a fire that was quickly eliminated.
