Volcano erupts again on Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula

A volcano erupted on the Reykjanes Peninsula in southwestern Iceland late Wednesday, marking its 7th eruption since December. While the eruption is smaller than the one in August and poses no threat to aviation, authorities warn of gas hazards in parts of the peninsula, including the town of Grindavik.
