Morgan Cooper- A US Citizen living in Ramallah, the Occupied West Bank.

I met Morgan Cooper, online. She popped up on my Instagram Feed one day, and I have been hooked ever since. She struck a chord within me with her introduction. "Hi I am Morgan Cooper. I am a US citizen married to a Palestinian, and we live in Ramallah, the Occupied West Bank, where we are raising our two children". I thought I knew quite a lot about Palestine and the situation there. But ... it turned out I only knew a small fraction of the facts on the ground. Just like all the other storytellers, journalists and activists in Palestine, she is showing us so much more. Through Morgan and the people of Palestine she showcases in her Instagram posts, we are given the whole picture of what it means to live in an apartheid state, of what it means to be treated, not as a second class citizen but literally as a non existent person. But we also get to see the beauty of Palestine, the culture, the traditions, the real people.... Morgan was kind enough to sit down for a conversation with me where we talked about how she ended up in Palestine, what her daily life is like and how as a US citizen she views Donald Trump's election as the next President of the USA.
