NY medic gets first-ever double lung transplant done by robot

A New York hospital says it has performed the first fully robotic double lung transplant. Nearly a month after the procedure, and just days ahead of her anticipated release, Reuters visited the 57-year-old transplant recipient Cheryl Mehrkar at the NYU Langone Health Center in Manhattan.
