For those who die without trusting Christ as their Savior, it’s a place of agony and unmet desires. And after the Great White Throne judgment, those in this shadowy part of Sheol will be thrown into the lake of fire. For those who have trusted in Christ, heaven awaits us with the King of kings and Lord of lords.
