Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I join the ranks of the Federation, as I take part in the neverending war against the Bugs with Starship Troopers Extermination. This game was developed and published by Offworld, who released several multiplayer FPS titles
including Beyond The Wire and the Squad Series.

Starship Troopers Extermination is a brand new Squad Based Shooter that takes place in the Epic Universe of Robert Heinlans Starship Troopers, joining the ranks of the Mobile Infantry as they wage war against the endless hordes of the bugs, a savage cannibalistic Alien Scourge that have spread across the galaxy, threatening the survival of mankind. The player will take on a variety of high risk missions such as defending critical military outposts, assaulting bug infestations and mining critical minerals for use by the Federation War Machine. Each area is teeming with thousands of bugs, requiring squads to rely on Teamwork to survive the onslaught, along with the ability to construct bases bristling with weapons and traps. With each victory, you will increase your rank, accessing powerful new tools and deadly new firearms to assist with high risk missions.

Starship Troopers Extermination is an excellent Cooperative Shooter, that is one of the closest experiences to the Starship Troopers Movies that you will find. However the game does have one issue which is the Matchmaking system, Players are either required to create a Company and then recruit other players, or rely on joining random matches, where they sometimes have lengthy waits to find other players. The developers have acknowledged this issue and are currently working to improve this, so I'm looking forward to returning to the game when this issue is resolved.
