French rail workers strike: Protest against restructuring plans

Rail workers in France have staged a one-day strike against plans to restructure parts of the national rail company. The government wants to cut the state budget next year by 63 billion dollars to plug the national deficit. But trade unions say workers will be hit the hardest.
