Check Out What Happens When A Frog Swallows A Firefly
If you have ever wondered what happens when a frog swallows a firefly (also known as a lightning bug), here is your chance to find out! Plus, it’s super funny, so you better check this out! This video shows a group of kids doing a little experiment with a frog and a lightning bug. There are a couple of frogs on the table a firefly, a beetle known for its ability to glow in the dark. Fireflies produce a chemical reaction inside their bodies that allows them to light up, and this type of light production is called bioluminescence. So, first, they feed the frog with the lightning bug, and then turn off the light, point a flashlight toward the table where the frog is and leave her in a shadow. Every time the firefly flashes, they can see it inside the frog! OMG, you have to check this out! It’s absolutely amazing!
