Growing concern over potential use of digital ID for social media age verification

Liz Storer has questioned the process of age verification of social media sites without the use of a digital ID.
“How do you like the double speak? We’re not requiring them to use digital ID, we’re just threatening these platforms with massive fines and massive penalisations if they don’t age verify everybody,” Ms Storer said.
“How else are they supposed to do it then?”
