Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes Community Update | A LOT of Content Here, Is It All Good Though?

We have a MASSIVE community update here, which lays out a whole bunch of changes coming to the game.

First off, CG claims they plan to make the game better for F2P player and new players. CG's M.O. is always to talk a big game, but then not deliver, so we'll see how this goes. I'm sure it will get better for the new players, but I question enhancements for F2P players. CG are a bunch of greedy bastards, so the last thing they care about are people not giving them money.

Another thing they discuss is this new ... game mode i guess? ... where you make progression over a 12 week period. If I'm not mistaken, it also absorbs Galactic Challenge victories, so I already feel like this is shit right out the gate. On too of that, they ALREADY have two passes you can buy to "enhance" the experience (much like a conquest pass).

Speaking of Galactic Challenges: that game mode will be changing as well, and of course, for the WORSE. It's changing to require players to have the latest marquee character as one of the feats as well as purchase one of the new passes. Absolute B.S. which now makes omicrons in GC not sound so bad.

All in all, there is a lot here, which should be exciting, but much like hearing about a new Star Wars movie from Disney, you just know CG is going to fuck it up.
