健康飲食對身心相當重要。《歐洲營養期刊》(European Journal of Nutrition)的一篇研究指出,高鎂攝取與較低的失智症風險有關,攝取高鎂飲食的人擁有較大的腦容量,及較小的白質病變。而高鎂食物包括綠葉蔬菜、堅果種子、全穀類、豆類、魚類、黑巧克力。
台灣腎臟科王介立醫師表示,該篇研究指出,高鎂攝取與較低的失智症風險有關。研究發現,攝取高鎂飲食的人擁有較大的腦容量和較小的白質病變(WML),這兩者都與較低的失智症風險相關。研究顯示,每天攝取550毫克鎂比起平均攝取量350毫克,到55歲時,大腦年齡可較年輕一歲,尤其對女性更為顯著。
高鎂食物主要包括下類6種:
1.綠葉蔬菜:菠菜、甜菜葉、甘藍。
2.堅果種子:南瓜籽、太陽花籽、杏仁、核桃、巴西堅果。
3.全穀類:燕麥、糙米、全麥麵包。
4.豆類:黑豆、大豆、扁豆。
5.魚類:鮭魚、鯡魚、鯖魚。
6.黑巧克力。
