Well this is kinda sad. The top 10 highest grossing movies in 2024 are currently all sequels. Gone are the days of championing original films. Now it's all about feeding the nostalgia and pumping out those uninspired sequels. That's not to say the movies on this list are bad. In fact, I enjoy a good chunk of them. It's just disappointing that they are the biggest earners in 2024. I take a look at all 10 from Deadpool & Wolverine to Inside Out 2. I even look back on previous years to see how their top 10 highest-earning movies stack up with today.
