The Big Picture The Armys Floating Workshop

This film chronicles the history of the aircraft maintenance depot ship Corpus Christi Bay, which was converted from a World War II seaplane tender. Scenes show various stages in the design and conversion of the ship, and its eventual deployment to Vietnam for helicopter repair.
