EASY YOGA CORE WORKOUT #flexibility
Easy Yoga Core Workout - It can be a challenging finding new ways to work out when you live on a sailboat! Just thought I'd share this core work out! Feel free to follow along & repeat 1-2 times for an added challenge!
In yoga, having a strong core helps us move through movements & is the foundations of all balancing postures. Advanced postures like arm & hand balancing postures require adequate core strength. For maximum benefits, proper core engagement is necessary when performing core exercises. Drawing the belly button inwards & upwards is a good place to start when doing these exercises.
What's in this Core Workout
-Table Pose
-Forearm plank - Leg extensions
Forearm plank Bring knee in to chest, then extend leg
-Locust Lifts (raising arms & legs as per video demo) with Flutters at the end
-Lie Supine - Knee to chest then extend leg
-Bridge pose with hip raise repetitions
-Side Lying - Leg Extension (with leg stretch to enhance mobility)
