Chadema Party leader Freeman Mbowe accuses ruling party CCM of rigging the elections

The leader of Chadema Party, Freeman Mbowe accuses the ruling party in Tanzania Chama Cha Mapinduzi (Revolutionary State Party) of lack impartiality. He said that the ruling party has government employees and party members as supervisors.

So far three opposition politicians have been fiercely killed on the eve of local elections. They have also accused the incumbent party of rigging. Tanzania is expected to head for parliamentary and presidential elections in 2024.
