How Churchill Ruined Britain

This documentary shows that Winston Churchill did not save Britain because Britain did not need saving. Germany neither wanted nor was capable of invading it. Britain could have just stopped fighting once France was occupied because this is what Germany offered and at this point neither Britain nor Germany could win anyway. Truman wanted to let Germany and the USSR fight each other and all Churchill needed to do to achieve that was nothing. However, Churchill wanted to fight and thus helped the USSR by fighting Germany. This is how Churchill wasted British blood and British treasure in order to save Soviet blood and Soviet treasure. The result was that:
1. Britain was bankrupted and lost its Empire
2. The Soviet Empire could finish the war powerful enough to threaten the West in the Cold War.
Bottom line: Churchill helped the USSR at the expense of his own country. If he has done this knowingly, he would be called a ‘traitor’. Given that Churchill did it out of stupidity, he became the Greatest Briton.
