Another striped flight 🐅

✈️Aeroflot flight SU1713 flew two Amur tigers at once from Khabarovsk to Moscow: a male and a female.

The predators were captured in 2023 in the Khabarovsk Territory. The tigress was trapped, accidentally locked in an empty dog ​​enclosure at an apiary in the Nanai District. The male, 3-4 years old, was spotted on the outskirts of the settlements of Lermontovka and Pushkino in the Bikinsky District, as well as in a number of other villages.

⛑At first, the unlucky tigers were taken to a local rehabilitation center. After some time, it became clear that due to the peculiarities of their behavior, the animals could not remain in the wild, and by decision of Rosprirodnadzor, the male was sent to the Voronezh Zoo, and the female to the Izhevsk Zoo.

With the support of the Amur Tiger Center, the predators first ended up on board Aeroflot, and are now getting used to their new enclosures.

🤝We are constantly participating in the program to preserve the rare feline species. Over the past 5 years, Aeroflot has delivered 14 predators to the European part of Russia. Earlier, on the sidelines of the EEF, we sealed our good relations with the Amur Tiger Center with a cooperation agreement.
