Why is the story of Eutychus in the Bible? It is oddly placed between two other stories, but does it mean what we think? Is Paul just telling us the story of the young man's resurrection, which further validates Paul's authority as an apostle? Many have taught that this story is an example of what can happen to those who don't pay attention in church. They fall asleep because they aren't prepared, but they check the box for attending church, regardless.
