Jeremiah 29:11, God does not place people by mistake. God has a plan for everyone. Babies are not born by accident.

Luke 2, Christ was born in a certain time and place for a reason and purpose. Other babies today and in the future are also brought into the world for a reason and purpose. It is impossible for people to know the future and all the details of God's plan, unless He first reveals it by the way He chooses to do so.

Matthew 1:18-20, the world regarded childbirth as a mundane thing, and yet this was not an ordinary birth of a child

Matthew 1:21, John 3:16-17, God did not bring His son into the world for no reason, but God sent His son to save the world. As for "ordinary" people and their children, a child is supposed to bring love into the parents' world. Sin will separate children from parents and vice versa, just as sin separates people from God- their original creator and Father. God so loved the world that He sent His son to save (destroy people's sin) and reconcile everyone (as many people as possible who will accept God's offer) back to Him.

Matthew 1:18-19, Joseph wondered if this sudden pregnancy out of the blue, before 'they (Mary and Joseph) came together', was a mistake (otherwise he would not have pondered divorcing his wife). Joseph could not read the mind of God in that moment and understand the plan.

Matthew 1:19, unwilling to put Mary and himself to shame (for he theorized that people would murmur about the pregnancy, among other thoughts), Joseph sought to divorce Mary quietly

Matthew 1:20-24, but an angel of the Lord came and revealed God's plan to Joseph, and Joseph obeyed God and took Mary as his wife (Mary also obeyed God, as marriage requires both the husband and the wife)

Matthew 1, the King's lineage came from the Davidic genealogy through Joseph, and the High Priest's lineage came from the genealogy through Mary, to fulfill the fact that everything was created by God
