*At the height of the 9th plague, after city after city had fallen to the Devoted, the Old One was finally called for. While the Devoted, and the eight other High Devoted, had listened only to Xo Wu who had directed them all, Xo had only been compelled to listen to the call of the DNA that had transformed him fully. It was a call that forced Xo to infect the world until the 9th plague had spread to appropriate levels. Only then would the Devoted stop their attack on human after human and just gather. Only then would any Devoted be corralled by any nearby High Devoted, or would find their way all on their own, to stand in the center of any city, every city, so that a great blue light could start to flow. Everything blue that was inside every regular Devoted would quickly run towards the center of any gathering they had been made, or would run towards any High Devoted that was nearby, an endlessly strong sapphire that would build and build until either that nearby High Devoted would scream, or the mob would begin to bellow, as that blue would suddenly shoot up passed the heavens before making its way beyond the stars. It was then that the blue would travel until it reached the Old One, that ancient evil unfurling from its slumber as it heard a call that was beckoning it home [AI Art]*
