Thunder Products ADAPT Clutch Cover

Thunder Products Clutching from Michigan is offering a new Arctic Cat ADAPT clutch cover that addresses a primary concern of consumers - that the factory clutch covers can sometimes crack, leading to premature failure.

There’s also a center bushing in the clutch cover that will wear out over time. Thunder Products allows you to change the bushing without the expense of buying an entirely new cover.

Clutches spin at very high speeds, meaning any cracks in any component lead to fairly quick self destruction, often with no warning at all, and with pretty serious consequences. While the number of failures is quite small, the severity is huge, and that's why a machined cover like this is important.

There are several aftermarket suppliers who are working to address this issue. With the ProCross chassis, any of those covers are probably fine. However, with the Catalyst, there isn’t room for a fancy cover design – the cover needs to be smooth or else it will dig into the bellypan.
