Pwnery's Firearm Reviews - The 2020 Colt Python 6"

Hello! Good evening, and welcome back to Pwnery's Firearm Reviews - and what you're about to witness is the answer to a love-letter written almost 2 years ago, finally answered, finally fulfilled, and no longer unrequited. That's right, I finally acquired a 6" Colt Python - no thanks to my local mind you, but to a shop waaaaaaay out in Pennsylvania that managed to get it to me in less than a week. Sure, I paid a little extra to have it, but my wait is over.

That's right, this is the Colt Python - the iconic "Snake gun" made famous in movies throughout the 70's all the way up to today. This specific variant was made ultra-famous by Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes in AMC's "The Walking Dead." It's here ... my replacement for my sold-off S&W 686-6 is here.

Today I'll you through the basics, the unboxing, my impressions, and just a very light touch-and-go review of a gun that most of you already knew about, or has been covered ad nauseum by other YouTuber's who've clearly got better shops and distributors at their disposal compared to mine. Can you tell I'm a little annoyed?

Yes, I slightly over-paid, and yes, at the end of the day, it's still a 6-shot wheel gun, but for me, it's the end of a journey and conquest. It was one of those "must-haves" that you can't explain to others. Love has no explanation ... it needs no explanation.
