Commissioners eye pay raise!

Grand Traverse County commissioners will consider a proposal that would double a commissioner’s base salary from $12 to $24,000 annually – but also eliminate a controversial per diem policy. Currently Commissioners salaries are middle of the pack for counties of their size. The new scale would put them on the high side.
